Trendy Tuesday

fashion jewelry

Being based in Los Angeles, California, we’re already bringing out the colors in our day-to-day looks, and ready for the spring season! Although we must remember winter is still going strong (very strong in some parts) elsewhere. But that shouldn’t stop us from looking around for inspiration on what to wear in anticipation of the warmer seasons.

As is the inclination pretty much every year, people naturally start to wear more colors, pastel hues, brighter shades, prints and patterns, and so on.

Here are some of our favorite, on trend, pieces for the spring 2015 season.

On the Spring 2015 runways, we saw glimpses of the 70s making a comeback through the jewelry trends.

yayoi howlite necklace

Here we see from the Creatures of the Wind show, a chunky retro style necklace, next to our ‘Howlite Overseas’ necklace from our Yayoi collection, made with howlite gemstones, contrasted with the brown fringing, adding that extra statement!

yayoi golden compass necklace

We also loved this statement necklace from the Marni show, also a nod to the 70s era, made with natural materials, our Yayoi ‘Golden Compass’ necklace is made with howlite gemstones, cotton rope, adorned with antique brown metal detailing.

minu jewels nadia dajani earrings

Here’s one trend we absolutely love through and through the years. Estate earrings. Just a pure classic trend, we don’t even need to say it never goes out of style. Sometimes a subtle piece of jewelry can go a long way.

This look particularly looks lovely with hair tied up or pinned back. In this picture, from the Dolce & Gabbana spring runway show, we also have a couple of examples of pieces from our range of earrings. The Nihal earrings (top right) from our Minu Jewels collection, are made with silver and smoky quartz. The lower image are from our Nadia Dajani collection, a stunning gold plated silver pair with black pearls.

ona chan leather bracelet

One more trend for the season takes a note from a more athletic perspective. As mentioned on Harper’s Bazaar, this trend “is now evident on tough-as-nails jewelry that mirrors a woman’s inner strength.”

This image is from the Fendi runway show, next to a couple of pieces from our Ona Chan collection, a laser cut leather cuff, and blue leather wrap around bracelet, both from the Lattice collection, from Hong Kong.

Do you have any new trend you will be trying out this season?
